Paul Pitman

Paul is the sole director and founder of the company. He began what is now known as Pitman Properties in 1980. Today, with more than 40 years of experience in building and development, he is the visionary who puts Pitman ahead of the field.
His introduction to construction came in 1969 with the renovation of a house while studying Rural Science at the University of New England (graduating in 1972). After receiving his builder’s licence in the late 1970s, Paul worked in a broad range of government and private sector construction roles across western and central NSW. Many of the buildings he worked on are still regarded as treasured and important in their local communities.
Paul uses his vast knowledge and experience to lead Pitman Properties as a fully integrated development company with a reputation for delivering value-creating, forward-thinking projects. He remains hands-on with projects, orchestrating designs and overseeing all stages right through to completion.
From his first development project – an eight-unit residential development in Brisbane – Paul has gone on to build more than 50 success stories.
The secret to Paul’s success is his ability to see beyond the current market. By staying ahead of industry trends he continually places Pitman Properties in a position to plan for, and take advantage of, future markets. Paul is passionate about the quality of design and materials and is proud of the standards he has achieved for Pitmans.

Terry is a highly experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of maximising project delivery and achieving commercial advantage, with his keen eye for managing risk and seizing opportunities.
Terry drives each stage of Pitman’s projects from design to completion. Leading the team in achieving high performance results by taking a practical approach to reach solutions, maximising efficiency and embracing innovative designs.
A strong negotiator and skilled communicator at all levels, Terry represents Pitman’s drive and capacity to conceive and deliver residential projects of leading-edge quality and form.

Integral to the Pitman team since 2012, Eliza works across all divisions of the company to effectively and efficiently facilitate executive actions.
Eliza assists the Director and each of the Pitman teams facilitating external relationships and ensuring effective workload management and support.
Her varied skill set ensures efficient coordination of day-to-day office operations across a myriad of responsibilities including but not limited to product imports, post settlement building care, progressing contracts, material and human resource management, sales promotion and liaison and monitoring and reviewing the company’s online presence.
Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Bachelor of Journalism since 2003, Eliza came to Pitman properties having honed her dynamic capacity for responsive problem solving and relationship building in roles such as hotel manager, NGO researcher, and human resources administrator.

Stewart Prior

Stewart expertly oversees the smooth day-to-day operation of the Pitman construction sites with his flare for clear communication, concise organisation and tireless commitment to excellence in every detail.
Stewart brings to the team an exceptionally strong background working on a diverse range of construction projects in different industries and locations. On leaving the army he pursued a career in carpentry, working for Leightons and Thiess.
Then, after successfully running his own carpentry buisness in Brisbane, he moved up to expertly overseeing tier 1 construction sites as foreman for Scooter Commercial, Probuild, Hutchinsons and now Pitman Properties. Stewart has worked for a plethera of builders on projects ranging form QBuild to high end residential, putting his mark on iconic Brisbane buildings such as the Sky Tower, Howard Smith Wharves and FV Peppers (Parts 1 and 2).
Stewart’s experience enables him to navigate challenging circumstances and guide site personnel to achieve a high degree of quality, accuracy and safety while meeting time and budget constraints. He is an invaluable asset to the Pitman team.
Stewart is a proud father to a wonderful daughter and enjoys riding sportsbikes, surfing and long distance running in his free time.
